Traffic

Criminal Traffic Offenses

Traffic court is held at 1:00 p.m. every Tuesday (except Holidays). Bring your citation with you and check in at the Justice Court Clerks’ counter. When your name is called,  you will meet with a District Attorney to discuss a resolution of your citation. If you cannot come to an agreement with the District Attorney, you may return to the Justice Court Clerk’s counter to receive a trial date. Your trial will be held within 60 days unless time is waived.

Verify your court date which is on your citation. Once the court receives the citation from the law enforcement agency that issued the citation, you may appear on any Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. prior to your issued court date.

Civil Infractions

When a citation is charging civil infraction offenses, the citation will only be set for hearing when the matter is contested. Contest your citation via the Citations page.

Criminal

The Court holds several criminal court sessions throughout the week. Refer to your citation, summons, or notice of setting to confirm the date and time of your next appearance. If you are still unsure of your court date, contact your attorney or the court clerk’s office.

Civil

Civil hearings are scheduled as needed. Typically, all civil matters are scheduled for Tuesdays at 9:00 a.m.  Refer to your summons, order or notice of setting to confirm the date and time of your next appearance.
